Textured Kimono Class
Learn a dozen stitches in this new class

By taking this textured kimono class, you will learn not only new stitches (a dozen in all) from each of the major stitch families, but you will also create a charming finished piece suitable as an ornament or for framing.Stitches are one of the glories of needlepoint, but using them effectively can be hard to master. This class, suitable for those beginning needlepoint or for experienced stitchers, has stitches suitable for borders, accents and backgrounds. In the class you'll learn: - how to make each of the stitches
- when it can be used
- easy ways to vary the stitch
- how to tell if a stitch fits
I've taught hundreds of people needlepoint and how to improve their stitching. With this class you can be part of a unique opportunity to learn stitches the way you actually use them -- as part of a canvas design. The class uses a canvas designed by Patricia Large of
Patt and Lee Designs
is one of a series of three that will be used for needlepoint technique classes. Participants in the first class will have priority for taking the other classes. This class is being held for the first time in April 2010 and attendance is limited. The cost is $27.50 and includes three email lessons and the canvas. Payment by PayPal is preferred. You can sign-up today by clicking on the button below. If you do not have a PayPal account or if you live outside of the US, please contact me about payment or additional shipping costs. I had so much fun stitching this design that I hope you will join me in this textured kimono class.
